Education technology should be targeted on the “education†and never just on the “technologyâ€. Before investing in and deploying EdTech, policymakers must ask what training challenges need to be addressed and what ensuing change is desired. Policies have to be holistic to account for trainer capability and incentives, applicable digital learning assets linked to the curriculum, and formative assessments that seize studying. Education at its core is a human-centered socially intensive endeavor.
